ABOUT US
The Woman’s Club was the first non-profit formed in Fountain Valley after becoming a city. The Club is comprised of about 85 members, who vary in ages, careers and stages of life. To be a member of the Fountain Valley Woman’s Club, one does not need to live in Fountain Valley, but ideally should live, work or attend school, or have a connection to Fountain Valley.
The Fountain Valley Woman’s Club is part of a larger organization, the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, based in Washington D.C. The GFWC was founded in 1890 and is historically recognized for helping establish many of our nation’s libraries and was a leader in helping develop kindergarten programs in public schools. We are also a part of the California Federation of Women as well as Orange District.
